"Doing it Right" #1, in Streaming Video
form... This is the video which began to change today's world of diving. From the only Deep Cave and Tek Diving team in the world with a zero death record ( the WKPP), not to mention the deep cave record (over over 3 miles into the largest underwater cave in North America, at average depths of over 280 feet deep) , the Doing it Right video was created to help advanced and technical divers become far safer, and at the same time, dramatically increase their adventure potential. DIR represents the mandated dive practices of America's BEST dive team, the WKPP, and today the fallout of its first video has impacted HEAVILY even on recreational divers. First globally popularized on
technical and cave diving e-mail lists maintained on www.aquanaut.com, as well
as a usenet group known as rec.scuba, DIR has caused enormous
controversy as it destroys the foolishness taught in many of the world's
dive training agencies today. At the same time, DIR ruffles the feathers
of those who have been teaching dangerous misinformation. Those who have
embraced DIR have found dramatic changes in their ability to dive, and
the enjoyment, safety and adventure potential they now experience. |

![]() STEP ONE Download and Install Microsoft Windows Media Player 7 If Microsoft Windows Media Player 6.4 or 7 is already installed ( anyone with fairly current Internet Explorer browser), you may skip Step 1 and PLAY the video of your choice... If you are a Netscape user, and refuse to use Internet Explorer, download just the Media Player 7, and use it as a stand alone Streaming Video Player application---typing the url of the stream you want into the "OPEN URL" choice from "FILE" choice, on the Media Player Control Bar.
****Never Before seen by the public...DIR 3 For those with a DSL or Cable modem, here is a much larger and better sound quality version ( but still the rough cut) This is temporarily off-line, due to large demand on the server...I will make this available again soon. If you would like a large format, downloadable video version of this, with better editing, e-mail me at dan@sfdj.com with your request. There is no tape to pay for, just server cost. I see charging maybe $2 per copy to be donated to WKPP, and then just covering the server cost---which will depend on how large a file ( how much quality) most people want--which is why I want some feedback. |
