Some inhabitants here look just like the reef itself because they blend in so well, as you can see with this stonefish (actual name is Spotted Scorpionfish). Good buoyoncy control g ets even more important around these pretenders to live rock, because they have poisen in their dorsal fins which could be injected in to the hand of a bumbling diver. |
Others like this nurse shark are pretty easy to spot, and easy to take pictures of since all they ever seem to do is sleep. |
