No other aspect of diving elicits as much interest as photography. After all, it's the only way we can bring part of the underwater experience by home with us to share with our unfortunate friends and relative who don't dive. While some divers find it enough to take a basic point-and-shoot camera with them, most eventually want better results. And let's face it - becoming a truly accomplished photographer is something that often requires the guidance of a seasoned expert
.
A DIVE USA we're committed to giving you this training. In fact, we don't just have a course or two, we have an entire school devoted to capturing underwater images. The reason, by the way, I use the term "images" is that because of an explosion in technology, underwater videography is beginning to over take still photography in popularity. But some mistakenly believe that video is somehow "easier" than still photography, so there's really little need for proper training. That, of course, is nonsense. Videography is every bit as much a discipline as still photography, and requires just as much training if you want something more than amateurish "home video."
Our comprehensive programs can take you from a novice who's not even sure how to properly load film to an accomplished photographer or videographer. Here you can learn the nuances of both how to get the images and how to process or edit them like a pro.
So on matter what you interests are, if they involve bringing back photo or video images of your diving adventure, DIVE USA has a program to help you do it better.
