Advanced Nitrox (EANx) Diver

Course Highlights: This program has been designed to extend the diver's knowledge in the use of Nitrox (EANx) for recreational diving. It also helps you develops diving skills and provides a greater understanding of the advantages and limitations of EANx. In addition to the theory component, you'll do four decompression simulation dives-none past 130 feet. The course employs EANx mixes from 22% to a maximum of 50% (for decompression stops. The max for dive mix is 40%).

Prerequisites: To enroll students must be at least fifteen years of age, and hold certifications as an Advanced Open Water diver, IANTD EANx Diver and IANTD Deep Air Diver or equivalent. They must also document at least 16 open water dives.
