Professional Instructor-Level I (PRO I)
Course Highlights:

The PRO I is a three day course that immediately follows your weekend IE (Instructor Exam). It includes instruction in PADI's Medic First Aid course and provides the Instructor rating in MFA as well. This will enhance your professional standing because you will be able to teach the Rescue course and its First Aid prerequisites for Rescue certification (otherwise another instructor will have to teach your students First Aid).

You'll also get several opportunities to teach continuing education activities. Though a series of hands-on workshops you'll learn how to conduct a PADI Advanced Open Water Core Dive. And you'll even get a chance teach segments from the Rescue Diver course. This enhanced diving experience will make you a more well-rounded and proficient diver and instructor.

Since technical diving is becoming much more popular it is imperative that dive instructors understand the theory of nitrox. Pro I students will be certified as nitrox users in this course and will be given the opportunity to learn about and try (when available) a nitrox rebreather.
