This 2-day course prepares you to teach a PADI distinctive specialty course in Underwater Videography. During the program you'll practice teaching course segments covering camera features and selection, housing features and selection, underwater video lighting systems, camera and housing preparation, care of equipment before and between dives, underwater videography techniques, and post dive equipment care. Lectures will include information on the proper sequencing of training dives, supervision of video students, critiquing student video, and trouble shooting student problems. The course includes four open water dives. During the open water dives, you'll practice basic underwater video techniques and supervision and direction of video instruction underwater. Upon satisfactory completion of the course and ten logged video dives, you'll be qualified to teach a PADI Underwater Videographer Distinctive Specialty Course.

Prerequisites:
Completion of DIVE USA's Pro II course, or by permission of the Director based on review of a demonstration tape. (If you are interested in taking the course, but are not a graduate of PRO II, please contact the school for details on submitting your demonstration.)
