This 4-day course will introduce you to and give you basic experience in virtually all aspects of producing an underwater video. You'll start by planning and story boarding a production. Then, you'll shoot the footage, edit and add a background music soundtrack. You'll also gain hands-on experience with computer-based editing equipment, stand-alone professional editing hardware and typical consumer editing controllers. Titling and computer graphics will be covered, too. The class includes four open water dives whether you'll shoot your production footage and practice advanced underwater video techniques. Upon satisfactory completion of the course the students who are not Underwater Video Instructors will be awarded a PADI Underwater Video Production Distinctive Specialty Certification. Underwater Video Instructors with ten logged video dives, will be qualified to teach a PADI Underwater Video Production Distinctive Specialty Course.
