What we see here is its gill against the green backdrop of star coral. Upon arrival the worm will whisk its gill inside its tube. By waiting a few patient minutes with the framer already in place outside the tube, the gill will bloom back into place. |

Crawling in and amongst the hydroids and rope sponges is another worm, the "Fire Worm" (or bristle worm, as it is commonly known). This worm is not to be trifled with, as it's bristles will break off and badly irritate the unsuspecting diver. |
