So before politicians, bought and paid for by commercial fishinginterests and the petroleum industry, destroy these additonalvital links to a healthy planetary ecosystem, please spend sometime taking a last look at some of the most compelling of marinecreatures.

We have three different perspectives for you. Our underwater photographerSandra Edwards has been photographing sea turtles for nine yearsnow, this being a major passion for her. Sandra loves sea turtles,and has a huge collection of photos for you to see. As large asthis collection you will see here is, it only scratches the surfaceof her photo albums.

And we have Norine Rouse. Famous among sea turtle enthusiasts,70 year old Norine Rouse is a living dive legend of Palm BeachFlorida, and she has been studying sea turtles in the wild since1965. You will see photos of Norine hugging and cleaning turtlesin the open ocean. Since many of you are aware divers are notsupposed to grab or harass turtles, don't be alarmed. Norine is"Legally" allowed to have direct contact with turtles,and the photos and video we will provide you with will show youthat turtles seem to have a sincere affection for, or at leastdesire for her attentions.

Finally, we have the perspective of one of the largest sea turtle facilitiesin the U.S., the Marine Life Center of Juno Beach. They protectthe nesting turtles of Palm Beach, and help those found to beinjured by boats or commercial fisherman. They are a great repositoryof sea turtle knowledge, and we are very greatfull for their helpin preparing this feature, and for the many slides they contributed.
