Sand Dwellers

Another sand dweller can be found if you focus down on tiny irregularities of the sandy botttom. As you notice the outline, closer inspection may reveal a Sea Robin.

Sea Robins are shy, but when they are not hiding, they will walk around on the spines of their ventral fins. They also use these spines like hands to turn over small rocks in search of food.

The Sea Robin can be found in sand .....

.....or in rubble.
