They seem too sleep most of the time now, all along the 60, 90 and 130 foot reefs I visit. Dan has seen them sleeping just as soundly at 230 feet on some of our deeper ledges.

Turtles have an amazing ability to slow down their heart rate and go for up to 3 days without breathing!
